A few months ago, I wrote about a Vancouver group developing a kind of “Cops” show aimed at bike theft.
In case you haven’t guessed, To Catch A Bike Thief, which still appears to be looking for a backer, is made up of citizen sleuths in pursuit of the lowest order of protozoa: bike thieves.
Recently, an ordinary bike owner in Portland, with a great attachment to his two-wheeled friend, became the victim of one of these bottom-feeders and decided to do something about it.
